First I have to congratulate the French women handball team, they did a wonderfull game (except the last 4 minutes) and beat the crap out of Spain. it was amazing and now they're going to face Russia in final.

I'd have liked more for them to face Norway cause the game would have been way better but hey, it's a final, it's always great

That being said, Akumetsu is now done. all 18 volumes have been released. Thanks for all the work guys ^__^ I'll try to host them too soon. (before christmass).

And last but not least: Cross Game part3c155

Take note that there will be no CG for the next four weeks, yeah I know it's hard but hey it's ok you'll have your christmass presents and new year meal anyway ^^

Thanks for the chapter - it really sucks that we have to wait four weeks for the next one, but this was a great place to leave off.

Anyway, on to the chapter itself. First:

KOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH!

They are winning this game now. They have to win this game now. He has beyond earned it.

I knew what was going to happen on the title page - the 'how many of those home run prize socks did I win?' comment gave it away - but the execution was absolutely brilliant. I loved the token - it was a great callback to the very beginning of Koh's baseball career, the one and only thing he used to be able to do in the sport. I disagree with Sirius that it was lacking - I thought the flashback was brilliantly done, especially the way the 'Home Run' sign was situated on page 14. And I found it amusing that Koh's expression was all "oh, nice" while everyone in the stands or on either bench was sporting Haruka's "shock and awe" face from H2.

Fantastic chapter. Now throw 160, strike out Mishima, and it's off to Koshien with you, kid. You've earned it.

Thanks sooo much for the chapter!!  This is a nice ending to pause for a few weeks... At least it didn't end as the ball was leaving Oikawa's hand.

I feel really bad for Azuma!  That stupid coward Oikawa won't face him so he can't get a chance to really shine.  At least Mishima will get a fair match (even though he'll be completely destroyed by a 163km/h fastball (I don't think Koh will stop at 160).

Poor Azuma.

Thanks so much team Manga Downloads for today's awesome release.
Although the wait for the next chapter is l-o-n-g, this is an appropriate chapter to leave off onn for a month.
Koh is just incredible, I look forward to this episode when the anime catches up. Now with Koh's own hands, he will grab the ticket to Koshien with the 160 km/hr pitch. Totally look forward to next years first release of Cross Game!

Well, Athanor, congrats to you and the French team for prevailing and going to the championship match. I'll pull for France too.

As for Cross Game... That was an amazing way to get the go-ahead run. I thought for sure that Akaishi would be the one to drive in the run. However, I really like Kou's approach to the batter's box. Handing the coin over to the homeplate umpire like he was the token machine, having thoughts about the Tsukishima family, then blasting a homerun to give Seishu a precious one-run lead.

So... will Seishu get an insurance run, or does Kou take the mound up one run and lead his team to the regional championship and Koushien. Right now, I'm real caught up in the baseball apsect. I'll think about the personal life stuff once this fantastic game ends.
