Translation are done by Stephen, one of the best translator if not the best of the manga scene. and he's english native so your french comment just don't make any sense......

Thanks for the chapter. It will probably take some time for this series to grow on me, though. At this point I have no idea who the people involved are or what kind of story we are dealing with. Up to now we haven't learned much about our protagonist either - even considering only two chapters are out - I hope that will change during the next instalment.
 
These minor worries aside, count me in for the ride... wherever Adachi sama will take us.
 
For my part, I only spotted one drift to French in this chapter. ^_-
The translation and overall quality were as spotless as always with MD, I thought - great work, everyone.
 
On a side note, I'd be interested to know what the "Ghost" pun looked like in Japanese; was a normal character replaced by the Kanji for ghost (ki?) in those instances?

@Athanor: I hope your comment was not meant to be an intimidation. It is just that I found the translation not as colloquial as in other scanlation works done by the group.

@Stephen: I do not know you personally, neither did I know that you were the translator, so please do not take my comment as a deliberate attempt to defy your legendary status - I was as impartial as I could be. (Also, it is not that my words are the universal truth, by the way.)

Love Adachi's work (Rough being the best romance).  With Q&A, I'm not sure where this is going.  Is it going to be deep?  Shallow?  Long?  Short? 
 
The characters are pretty one-dimensional so far too, though I didn't appreciate Rough until the second volume, Katsu! and Cross Game really grabbed me immediately.

I find your comment pretty funny cause Stephen is english native and has translated all the Cross Game so the very same person did once a job you like and once a job you find "frenchie", allow me to laugh loudly.

and most of the other translation have been done by European ppl mostly not native english so it's make not much sense to me ^__^

Stephen, could you translate that French (?) statement please.   
As others already said, there is no future direction indication yet.
However, I think Adachi's monthly manga generally differ slightly from his weekly manga in the following way:
Probably due to the longer lapse times between chapters in monthly manga, it is more difficult to keep the readers' attention high if long sport games are depicted.  Therefore, the sports main theme in his monthly manga is not as strong as in weekly ones.  Instead, he prefers to write light, short stories for monthly manga.  The extended length of monthly chapter, almost twice that of weekly chapter, allow more room for short stories.  Of course, these short stories are also part of the overall story.
So far, it is mostly introductions of characters, relationships and capabilities (in particular, the ghost's) etc.  I suspect that it will turn out to be more an entertaining piece, rather than everybody/everything is revolving around a main sport as in his weekly mangas.

This is my first time following one of Adachi's monthly issues, and it is indeed interesting to see how the pacing differs from the weekly ones. I think it's going along fairly well though - first issue we're introduced to the twist, and the second one we learn a bit more about it, like who can or can't see or hear about "him".
